The first monthly meeting and Planning Session of PSIM Manila Chapter was held this 22 January 2023 at the Philippine Columbian Association. 2023 PSIM Manila Chapter President Engr. Carlx Cruz welcomed the group and opened the meeting. The meeting was attended by PSME MHC Past Presidents namely, Engr. Ricky Quijano, Emgr. Cesar Galang, Engr. Albert Loresco, Engr. Boying Moreno, Engr. Sublime Carvajal and Engr. Manuel Paulino.
That PSIM Immediate National Past President Engr. Cleofas Maceda who is a member of PSIM Manila Chapter, also attended the meeting and planning session. She also provided a lecture on Officers Bearer Course and the details of PSIM’s Constitution and By-Laws. This is very important topic for the Board of Trusties, Officers and Appointed committee members because this will guide them on how to manage the chapter based on the rule of law (Parliamentary Law and Roberts Rule of Order).
Engr. Jerome Lisay, incumbent PSIM National Secretary also graced the occasion. BME Engr. Lorenz Larion attended the meeting to congratulate the Officers and BOTs of the chapter and to provide encouragement and moral support. Considering that that the meerting was held on a Sunday, Labada Day, 6 Officers and 5 Board of Trustees attended in person while the rest attended via Zoom.
